Now that we've entered this year full of enthusiasm, with a major "attitude adjustment", let's take a look at some new ways to approach our customers we often forget, our fellow employees.
Why not:
- Use More Ear and Less Tongue - we may be amazed at what we can learn, as well as how much easier it is to get our fellow workers to put forth their maximum effort.
- Keep Mentally and Physically Fit - we need to stop worrying about things we can not presently change, spending our time and energy on those challenges that are "do-able".
- Have a Stout Heart, Be a Bit of a Philosopher - find the humor in even the most worrisome of challenges facing our work team. "A little bit of honey helps the medicine go down".
We will do well to remember as we go through the months ahead - "there's a big difference between knowing something and doing something. It's the difference between mediocrity and success".
